Did you open your electric bill today, peer at the price, and then stare, helplessly, as though you could use a dose of CPR? And your expanded vocabulary gave way to, duh!

Gas hot water heaters, if rusted and leaking, will cause the red diamond your water meter to rotate, faster than a carousel on steroids. And yep, your water bill will increase.

Often these problems take more than a cursory look to assess the problem; they can be subtle. But your utility bills will not be so subtle.

So, get your hot water replaced today, and your wallet will thank you tomorrow.
